I’ve been researching extensively for a 5-night stay in Koh Samui, but I’m overwhelmed by the numerous options and mixed reviews. We’re a family of four—two adults and two children, ages 8 and 12. We’re looking for a family-friendly hotel with great pools and a beautiful beach. We want a location that isn’t too isolated but also not overly crowded. Mid-range hotel suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, and I look forward to your recommendations!
We chose Smile House in Bophut’s Fisherman’s Village. It offers family rooms with two bedrooms, two large pools, and a restaurant right on the beach. Plus, it’s within walking distance to the Fisherman’s Village night market. It’s definitely the best choice for us.
We did a lot of research as well and ended up booking the Melati. It looked really nice for the cost compared to others in the same price range. Plus, it’s located on a quieter beach, which is perfect since we wanted to avoid the party beaches.
I also did a lot of research and we decided on Choeng Mon Beach. We felt that staying in Chaweng might be a bit too noisy for us, though we definitely plan to visit. Lamai seemed a little older and too quiet for our taste. Choeng Mon seems ideally located, offering easy access to Fisherman’s Village, Chaweng, Lamai, various viewpoints, and more, without being as busy as other areas.
Pavilion Samui Villas & Resort is a beautiful choice, perfect for families. It’s located right on Lamai Beach, near the fantastic night market and other essential amenities. The staff are wonderful and go above and beyond to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. No matter where you decide to stay, don’t get overwhelmed—trust your instincts. I hope you have an amazing time! Koh Samui is an incredible island to explore.
